Many visitors from around the world describe the experience of a Hawaiian cruise as living a dream. It offers you an explorers view to capture the essence of the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands, shimmering with all their beauty on the crystal blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Many call the place a paradise on this planet.
Only visiting the place can give you even the slightest of ideas behind these words.

Sitting back relaxed, sipping your cocktail and enjoying the sight of a spectacular Hawaiian sunset, with a pleasant breeze and the sight of palm trees along the coastline of islands, complete all the ingredients to a dream tropical vacation. To some people, it is one of the most amazing experiences in the world that they could think of.

If you are an American or a Canadian citizen living near the West Coast, cruises to Hawaii frequently depart from different seaports there. Mostly, the centers of departure of these cruises are the ports of Vancouver, Seattle and San Diego. There are also a number of other coasts all along the West Coast that offer such cruises.

Most of these Hawaiian cruises are round trips lasting 15 to 18 days and involve a visit to ports across the different Hawaiian islands. There are cruises available for longer periods, such as Hawaiian cruise vacations could also be taken, which are of a duration of 25 to 30 days. One-way cruises are available, after taking which you could take a flight back home.

The greater the period of your cruise, the more you will be able to enjoy and live the beauty of the Hawaiian islands. It certainly thrills those with adventurous souls, but who would refuse an opportunity to spend as much time as possible in Oahu, Kauai, Lanai and Maui in a single trip, not to mention the Big Island itself.

A cruise to Hawaii has more to offer than just lying around the pool deck, or basking in the sun on a Hawaiian beach. Those with a flare for adventure will make the most of the opportunity to marvel at the natural forces in the shape of the spectacular volcanoes of the Big Island. The spectacle of erupting lava from the Kilauea is one of its kind, and if you dont feel comfortable with a hike to the volcano sites, maybe you could use a birds eye view, through a helicopter Circle of Fire tour.

On the southern end of the Big Island, the Kona Cloud Forest Botanical Walk, near the port of Kona, is a soothing interaction with nature. The Kona district offers a plenty of water sports activities, and speaking of water, the experience of exploring the 25 acres of coral reef in a passenger submarine tour must never be missed.

As you approach Oahu on your cruise, you can admire the beautiful coast and beaches of the city of Honolulu. You could also get in touch with a little history at Pearl Harbor and commemorate the tragic World War II incident at the USS Arizona Memorial. As you move on to the island of Lanai, you could try to take some nice shots of migrating whales, or may thrill yourself with a 4×4 ride in the dense rainforests in the island of Kauai. Whether you want to do it to relax, or just to have a lot of fun and adventure, nothing offers you more in one package than a cruise to Hawaii. Try it if you still havent.

Almost every other person who is going to Hawaii will tell you that they are visiting the islands because of their beautiful and sunny beaches. But did you know a lot of visitors select Hawaii as their traveling destination because of its volcanoes?

Well, if there is one place you can find, which offers you all kind of volcano sites, it is Hawaii. Here is a brief look at what it has to offer.

Mona Loa: It means Long Mountain. Mona Loa is the largest volcano on planet Earth. It is an active volcano, and is so large that it constitutes more than half of the Big Island. It has erupted three times since 1843, the last time being in 1984. It is a real sight to witness and on your next visit to Hawaii, a visit to Mona Loa is certainly recommended.

Kilauea: And if youre on the Big Island, how can you miss the world famous sight of the continuous Kilauea eruption. The most active volcano in the world, it has been continuously spewing out lava since January 1983, which drains all the way down to the ocean. It is one of the most spectacular sights you can find on the planet, which you must have watched on TV at least. Make sure you witness it with your own eyes when you come to the Big Island.

Hualalai: Another of the Big Island shield volcanoes, but this one is dormant. It has been pretty active in the eighteenth century, and some scientists speculate about its possible activity in the future. It is a beautiful volcano and one of the sites to visit.

Although volcano sightseeing is worth all the pains you take for it, but still you must understand the risks involved, especially in a site like Kilauea. It also involves a lot of hiking and people who are not able to sustain the extent of the physical effort it requires, like the elderly, little children and pregnant women, are advised to avoid such an adventure for their own safety. Moreover, stay informed of the level of lava activity before you start to hike. Experts advise an early planning and an early start, so you can enjoy most of your time, and the best parts of the day at the site.

The weather in Hawaii can change pretty fast. Although it is not known to be an area with too much of a severe weather history, yet the tempest may bring a shower or two with some windy conditions. Make sure you are well equipped to fight the weather. Make sure not to forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes for the hike. A warm jacket may also come in handy, as the temperatures could become cooler as you go higher on these sites. Also take care that you bring with you a sufficient supply of snacks, there will not be many stands out there that would be selling them.

Make the most of your trip to Hawaii by visiting these spectacular natural wonders. You dont want to regret later if you miss them.

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and there is little wonder why every year thousands and thousands of tourists, both from the United States and from around the world come to pay their tribute to one of the most spectacular wonders of nature on our planet. And nothing will complete your pilgrimage to this shrine of natural beauty than a comprehensive cruise that covers four of the most beautiful of the states islands, the Big Island, Maui, Oahu and Kauai.

There can hardly be a better look at Hawaii, then looking at four of its islands, with a comparative eye, in one go. With the unique and respective colors and scenes of each Island, nothing gives you a more encompassing picture of the archipelago of Hawaii. For the enhancement of this rare pleasure, here are a few things which each of these Islands are known for, as we move on our cruise from Kauai to the Big Island.

Kauai is the little paradise within a paradise; that is why it is dubbed as the Garden Island. It is probably the best preserved natural environment among all of the Hawaiian Islands. That is why Kauai is famous for its nature-centered activities such as whale watching, snorkeling, tubing, kayaking, biking, off-road sightseeing, eco tours, picnicking and the most amazing of all, an airplane view of the island.

It features some amazing white sand beaches and has by far the most natural and best preserved environment of all the islands. The island is so famous for its repute of having an unadulterated natural environment that it is often featured in Hollywood movies for portraying the natural environment of Hawaii and wildlife of jungles.
A day long tour of the island from its beaches to the Waimea Canyon is a treat for anyone who takes time out to witness it.

Your next stop will be Oahu, as you inch towards the Big Island. It is one of the largest islands and houses the capital Honolulu, since its declaration about two centuries ago. Oahu means the gathering place in the native language, and isnt that name fitting for the place. It is famous for its Waikiki Beach Resort, which is a gathering place in itself.

You can find atmosphere like that of your home on this well built part of the Hawaiian Islands, but Oahu also has to offer a lot for those who want to stay close to nature. You could also enjoy snorkeling, swimming and scuba diving along the coast during your stay.

Oahu can offer you a touch of a historical refresher by allowing you to pay a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, or you could experience the richness and beauty of the native art and culture through the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Maui, your next stop on the cruise offers you as much outdoor fun as any of the other Hawaiian Islands. Let it be parasailing, biking, kayaking or ATV tours, Maui has a little bit of everything for those with a taste of adventure. Maui also boasts one of the most spectacular beaches and golf courses in the world, which really makes visiting the island a treat. Moreover, the Haleakala volcano is also one of the trademark sites of Maui that attract tourists.

Finally we arrive to the Big Island itself, the largest volcanic wonder on Earth. The Big Island is named so because it is actually larger than the rest of the Hawaiian land mass combined, and is actually growing. The Big Island enables you to admire the furious side of nature, with the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park. You can also enjoy day trips on the island, surfing and could also take eco tours. It has plenty of sites to keep you captivated like the Mauna Loa and the Kilauea.

Taking such a cruise will be a dream tour of Hawaii, and if you find a chance to take it, make sure that you dont miss this opportunity.
You may or may not find one again.

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It has a beautiful blend of nature, scenic beauty, culture and people, and is one of the most popular places for vacations. If you have never had the pleasure to visit the beautiful islands, you may want to consider it. Here are a few tips that would be useful for your visit in Hawaii and would make you keep in touch with nature there.

Hawaii is famous around the world for its shell volcanoes like Mauna Loa, the largest volcano on Earth. In fact, it was volcanic activity itself which gave rise to these islands. Even today most of the parts of the Hawaiian islands are made up of volcanic rock, which make Hawaii a geological wonder, along with its reputation for scenic beauty. The Big Island is made up of five volcanoes, out of which Kilauea is the most active of all volcanoes and is continuously vomiting out liquid lava since 1983. The spectacular sight of Kilaueas eruption spilling into the ocean is one of the things to watch when you visit Hawaii. The rising of the steam produced by the union of red hot lava with the cool waters of the Pacific is actually a tourist attraction, and is one of the many manifestations of the wonders of Mother Nature.

The volcanic nature of the terrain of the Big Island create yet another natural wonder: The famous black sand beaches. You may fight white sand beaches at many places around the world, but you will not find a black sand beach anywhere else. You have to see it to believe it.

The natural beauty of Hawaii is not confined to its volcanoes, but also appears in waterfalls. Hawaii is home to one of the most spectacular waterfalls. The Akaka Falls State Park contains the beautiful Akaka Falls, a 442-foot high waterfall, which is worth every second of your time to watch and admire.

The spectacle is simply overwhelming, and words can hardly describe what your eyes will show you, as the park offers you various viewpoints to watch the fall.

Hawaii, a tourist magnet, can offer you top class accommodation, with standards comparable to the best lodgings around the world. The island of Oahu alone offers no less than 30,000 hotel rooms of world class quality. You could also choose to stay in a number of private villas, houses, cottages, resorts and apartments available on rent all over Hawaii.

Hawaii usually has excellent weather at any given time of the year, and summers are when you really can enjoy yourself in Hawaii, with the temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees. Winters are relatively cooler, but you still get temperatures around 80 degrees from time to time.

Hawaii is a must-visit place on the travel plans of every traveler who loves to see the natural beauty and cultural richness around the world. Find a decent and affordable place in Hawaii and prepare yourself to indulge in the beauty of the exotic islands of Hawaii. The experience will surely bring you back.
